Colour in Nosferatu (1922)

As well as spot colouring, id like to make use of whole frame tinting as used in Murnau's 1922 production of Nosferatu. The film uses colour to indicate time of day, lighting and mood. Blues and greens represent night time, whilst pinks and yellows represent daytime or twilight. the dichotomy of pink and green is a constant in my video at the moment, but I think use of entire colour washes at certain moments would make for an interesting setting of atmosphere and discomfort.
