Having read the biography of Fanny Cradock I decided to source some more archive footage to reference. I was able to rent a 15 minute short from the BFI in which an a particularly scathing interviewer discovers that the winkles served in a seafood platter by Fanny are in fact still alive and moving. Her response and subsequent mood for the rest of the interview is extremely uncomfortable.
