Some notes from the group pin up crit on padlet. In summary people responded to the video as if it were "romantic" with some humorous element. The theme of France was dominant in people perception overall however, with less focus paid to the narrator, whom the work was originally about. One interesting piece of information was able to gauge from discussion was that, other than what I had personally told people, most do not know who Fanny Cradock actually was. Despite being considered the first celebrity chef there ever was, Fanny's legacy no longer persists in the collective cultural memory. This means that I have the potential to shape and manipulate her legacy in my own way, or in her intended image, since those closest to her so often claimed she "did not know who she was".
