Victoria Sin

A performance by drag artist Victoria Sin in which they make a sandwich live on stage. Their gestures, movement, outfit and choice of music elevate mundane acts of buttering bread and unwrapping American cheese to a glamorous performance. Similarly to how Fanny Cradock cooked in a sparkling ballgown at the Royal Albert Hall. Victoria sins piece however plays on the notions of gender, the "performace" of femininity as a non binary person and perhaps of "glamorous" domesticity. Fanny Cradock often insisted that cooking neednt be a "grubby task" but can be fun and elegant, elevating the task.
