Viewmaster

In the context of quarantine, with restrictions on movement, the viewmaster wheel and its supposedly dated purpose to provide a glimpse into "wonders of the world" has become ever more appropriate. Instead of the American national parks or the South African safari, the places outside our doorsteps have now become some of the most coveted locations to glimpse or experience through a viewfinder window. My frustrations about wanting to do a project relating to psychogeography and travel could be resolved through the capturing of place within touristic photo wheels of the locations I long to go to, no matter how mundane when compared to "wonders of the world".
