Poster I was able to complete on the risograph printer before Kingston closed. Fun experiment with promotional mass media publication/poster design that id like to explore more. Wendy Williams is an extremely public facing figure hosting a talk show, revolving around celebrity gossip and her own, sometimes controversial opinions ("spilling tea"). Her persona of "realness" and is so heavily produced that she has a kind of sinister, unsettling aura that has borne a cult online following. Parodying this tone of mystery and mistrust, I designed these posters and a follow up for those who RSVP'd to the email address listed, this time more closely tackling the context of a pandemic, solidarity and conspiracy.
